CommVault Systems that offers data management solutions to various Indian telecom operators such as Vodafone, is in advanced discussions with Mukesh Ambani-owned Reliance Jio Infocomm, and is banking high on fourth-generation (4G) high speed data networks in the country.
"Our talks are on with Reliance Jio," Ramesh Mamgain, country manager India and SAARC at CommVault Systems told ET, adding that 4G services would create humongous data and video content is poised to dominate LTE networks in India.
US-based CommVault works with various telecom service providers in India, but the company declined to name them specifically. Vodafone India has also implemented CommVault's backup solution as a part of latter's data management platform.
