Hi Guys, thanks for all ur help.

Well I have made up my mind, I and my family, we have decided to stay with Digital Cable TV as I said the PQ/AQ of the SD channels are like HD ones. also phase 3 of digitization is on its way and the MSO is gearing up to add more channels this month. Also HD STB and HD channels will be launched in about 2 months or max by Sept. So we decided to stay with DCATV. Thanks again.

Anish its your wish that you have decided to wait but let me tell you that dont wait indefinitely else you will be missing out on viewing HD channels .. Let me assure you that the PQ of SD channel however clear cannot be matched with HD ..

I was also in the same quandary like you few months back whether to wait for local cable guy to start HD channels or go for one more tatasky for my 2nd tv .. After days of research and asking here n there I bought one more TS HD + and I dont regret my decision even 1% ..

Also this is my suggestion to you that whenever you decide to go for HD think long term and buy a DVR Box .. Its a one time investment and worth the money even though expensive ..
