Today noticed manytimes that PQ on DD National is better than that of SS3. Is it same everywhere.......?

Yeah DD's PQ is better then Star Sports.

I find Star Sports picture quality blurry. In HD only Movies Now HD has superb HD Quality, others are no where near to it. It all depends how much bandwidth has been allotted by the broadcaster to a HD channel. To keep running cost less, i am sure most HD channels run on low bitrate from Broadcaster end, they fool that we are True HD. At least for me i find Movies Now HD only a True HD channel in terms of Picture Quality. Its so crisp and sharp

But I think feed is same for both.......may be Star is keeping PQ slightly lower so as to make more differentiation with HD & thus pushing people towards HD........

I think its a concern of STAR SPORTS decoders also. I can see the difference of PQ between STAR SPORTS 2 and other SS channels. Who knows they still running in MPEG 2 decoder except SS2 all SS channels PQ is not upto the mark and can easily feel the dullness.
