Indore to host the Ranji Trophy final
Indore's Holkar stadium will be hosting the final of the 2016-17 Ranji Trophy from January 10. Earlier, the Ranji final was scheduled to be played on January 12, but the Board the Control of Cricket in India (BCCI) were forced to reschedule a number of matches. The two semi-finals of the Ranji Trophy have also been preponed by two days, and will now be played at Rajkot and Nagpur on January 1 instead of January 3.
Indore recently became India's newest Test venue when it hosted the third Test between India and New Zealand in October earlier this year. The schedule for the quarter-finals are as follows: (December 23-27): Mumbai vs Hyderbad (Raipur), Tamil Nadu vs Karnataka (Visakhapatnam), Gujarat vs Odisha (Jaipur) and Haryana vs Jharkhand (Baroda).
