Update current status of gsat 10

Please read earlier discussions. There was a disussion on MPEG2 and MPEG4 compressions . thats y FTV HD [as i know its In 16:9 aspect ratio, HD] posted with aspect ratio.
Others please confirm for Its HD.

There r many MPEG2 HD Channels exists and working very fine elsewhere. so that doesnt effect /decrease the Quality. Yes MPEG4 is benefitted for adding many channels in single TP. very very latest MPEG2 Technology also available now. surely TS is updating those technology .
MPEG 2 and MPEG 4 are simply marketing gimmicks.There is nothing change in terms of PQ in these Technics.

Well MPEG4 Compression gives more space for DTH in a TP, Less investment for C Band broadcasters as they too get more space and can add more channels. Still no one in Any forum have not justified or given solid proof that MPEG4 Channels have more good quality than MPEG2 Channels. Many SD Channels in C Band r using MPEG2 Technology[compression] for their New channels too. They r in very good PQ/AQ.

Regarding gsat 10 Tata Sky prefers to evade questions expressing inability to comment by what time channel additions would start. Means some serious problem might have cropped up mean while,which they don't want to share.

Yes, now all things will be clear with start of IPL, if tata sky not provide sony six in HD then definatly there will be a serious problem. Wait of 25 days only
