HELP D2H - Initial thoughts, issues and some HD snaps.

Bro...try this as I have updated my 2233 STB manually by following trick:
1) insert your pendrive while STB is on (better insert on second USB port on back of STB), it will detect it as recording device.... Simply press cancel button.
2) now switch to channel no. 100 (default channel)
3) press RESET button on your back of stb for 15 seconds...it will restart and will start updating device from pendrive.

Deep Patel bro, Now it's detecting the pen drive and trying to download file. But Table Timeout error showing every time. Hope Vadirocks bro will find some solution.

Vadirocks bro. Little update about the sound issue.
Here is the HD channels without audio. Zee TV HD, &pictures HD, Zee Cinema HD, D2H Cinema HD (Test Signal), Ten HD, Nat Geo wild HD, Fox Life HD, TLC HDWORLD, TravelXP HD. There is no audio at all in this channels. Some has 2-3 feeds but none of them has audio. No DD option in language setting.
I have noticed one thing that except above channels maximum other HD channels has 2 options in "lang" option. 1. Hindi or English 2. Hindi or English Dolby Digital. If I select option 1 then no audio. If I select option 2 audio works fine.
History HD has 5 option, Hindi and English: No audio. Tamil, Bangla, Telegu works fine.
CNBC Prime HD has 2 option. English and AAC. English works fine and no audio on AAC.
But didn't find anything about missing audio on some SD channels like Al Jazeera, BBC, CNN, Russia today.
Software update: Trying from yesterday. no success yet. same error.
Customer ID is available in image of STB backside. And registered with the name of "Sanjit Das".

Bro contact videocon d2h, they will come and install new software or if there is an issue in stb they will replace it.
As ur stb is in warranty so don't play with it. The audio issue is bcoz of old software im ur stb, videocon upgraded audio encoders recently at their headend and old software does not support it

aumnamonarayan bro. Please read my early posts. I'm from Bangladesh. No official support here. Local engineers doesn't have knowledge about it. It's TS, DishTV and adtv popular here.

Then wait till videocon releases new software. Unfortunately like tata sky they don't keep latest software on satellite always and hence new software is not downloaded automatically when any stb is installed
