Well they r applying NDS Videogurad encryption as the new 4K STB supports only that. Irdeto will continue for older STB's. They will have dual encryption

I also think the same. Older boxes will continue to be on IRDETO and d2h will launch new boxes with NDS.

Not possible, encryption is dependent on pre installed chips in the STB at the time of manufacturing. Software can't change encryption type

I think d2h provide some advance STB isn't it ? in that case they can apply new encryption since their Hardware is strong

i doubt on that as the boxes got some problems with it and new ones are yet to be launched.
