Following the recent leak that revealed more on the development of Dark Souls 3, further information has been found that points to a 2016 release date.
It seems FROM Software's big announcement for E3 has been spoiled, with promotional art from the expo finding its way onto the internet early (via IGN).
An armoured warrior smouldering from fire damage can be seen in front of a ruined castle, with the phrase "Early 2016" posted below it.
Bandai Namco have yet to comment on the new image or indeed confirm the next instalment in the Dark Souls franchise officially.
Based on all the details gathered so far it would seem a big announcement will be held at E3 for the new-gen title.
