My question is how can they keep analog signals on after 31st, as per law it is illegal. Also Collectors have been given the job by TRAI to keep a watch on those who don't switch off analog signals. If any one has understood my question pls do reply as only 10 more days are left for DAS phase 3

If stb is not installed by msos then switching off the signal won't be the only solution and they would surely get more time else people would opt for dth

But technoglitch bro: here there are two sub questions and issues:

If they keep analog on as most don't have STB installed:

1. wouldn't it be illegal, and woudnt it invite strict actions from TRAI/broadcasters
2. in the pic I posted they say DAS 3 MSO need to sign a new agreement, and old agreement will be null and void, they also say that they have to specify the analog cut off date on the new DAS agreement form. So if MSO doesn't mention the date he wont get the agreement and channels. And From jan 1st broadcasters will switch off services.

I got a reply from TRAI, they are very firm and said action will be taken against those MSO who don't follow the regulation and laws.

My LCO still says nothing will happen on 31st as MSO will take more time. hahaha

Because of such people our nation is not progressing.

Then why broadcasters are sending letters to MSO and telling them that if analog cable is not shut then legal actions will be taken. And also all channels will be taken down

It is all a formality and in future trai questions they would say they have send the details and we can expect a stay in court from MSO to postpone.
