I think any mpeg4 STB from major STB brands, available & popular in India OR from STB manufacturers in India should work.........bust just a guess.....don't know whether DD FD is bringing branded STBs in the market......

Long way to go for DD Free Dish its very easy to run FTA DTH then Encrypted DTH, they have to form Service Centres, Data Base, Servers in order to count the active subscribers, they need viewing cards and its unique number and all the basic needs to run a FTA DTH ??

will dd launch new channels in the removed tp 11490 along with 111190 in mpeg4 format.
