News Delhi: AIIMS doctor found dead in a hotel, husband arrested

A woman doctor was found dead under mysterious circumstances at a hotel in Paharganj in central Delhi on Sunday.

The woman has been identified as Priya Vedi, she was a senior resident at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences(AIIMS). The police recovered a suicide note from her hotel room in which she reportedly said she decided to take her life after discovering that her husband was a homosexual.

Police have sent the body for post-mortem. They have arrested Priya's husband Kamal Vedi on charges of abetment to suicide.
