According to some news paper reports, the producers of the docu film got approval from jail authorities in 2013. Producers Leslee Udwin & her Indian agents used a middleman named Khullar to get the approval.
Later they tried to arrange interview with the accused Mukesh Singh. But he was not ready & asked Rs 2 lakh for the interview. Producers met his family members, negotiated the amount & convinced them for the interview. Finally Mukesh Singh was ready to give interview for Rs 40000.
So if all this is true, then apart from outraging the modesty & insulting women as per IPC 354 , producers have used money to lure accused to give an interview. So one can say that producers might have scripted the interview for the accused Mukesh Singh.
