congrats for the new purchase @sunnysep bro, did you use camera or mobile for capturing the image because the color looks washed away and bit dull.

Ya i understand the risk involved .... but i thought even if the LCD last for 2 to 3 years it would be worth the spend... i saw other popular brands like LG, Sony, Samsung are offering 1 year warranty.. and more over these days no one manufactures TV all companies assembles the TV with little bit of customization .... Miccromax has a TV assembling unit at Rudrapur& their corporate office is Gurgaon barely 3 KM from my office.... so i am always reachable to make my complain heard if required :freaky:.... I hope i really do not need to do that though.
:verydrunk:
Any way seems good decision bro....Please don't forget to post snaps of TV & remote.......
Also post your review & comparison between 2 TV sets......

If you got this for Rs 28.50 then it's definitely a good deal.

Even if it worked well till 3-4 years, paisa will be wasool.

I thought that Micromax would be giving 2-3 yrs warranty with TV products. But only one yr warranty is not attractive enough, considering brand image & competition.
Videocon gives upto 5 yrs warranty & also 1 yr D2H full HD service free with certain TV models. Also brands like Mitashi also gives upto 3 yrs warranty.
So something more is required from Micromax............
Normally Videocon give 2 - 3 years warranty in some models but because at festive time they gave 5 years warranty. Normally LCD and LEDs are risky products and in some extend if we saw Micromax's 1 years warranty then suddenly they're playing safe because normally every stupid brands products run butter for at least 1st year.

I am using Sony 40 inch LCD TV for last 4 years, no issues. It also depends on how we protect the TV with Stabilizers.

Yeah stabilizer is a must required equipment along with the product. No matter whatsoever company said that its having inbuilt stabilizer or not we must have those.

Fortunately we do not have voltage fluctuations in my society its fitted with MCB so I guess that should not be a concern....i have been using my existing LCD on raw power.
