First time when they changed STB, they charged 500 Rs, next time when they again changed the MSO they replaced STB free of cost

With the increasing prices of packages of DTH services for both SD and HD channels. Will Customers be forced to shift to Digital Cable which is much cheaper and affordable to an average Indian ???

We can see stability in National MSOs. Their working is professional. Small regional MSO must either upgrade themselves or let bigger MSO take over them. By 2016 I see Digital Cable in an advanced position in our nation, many new features will be launched. Also I hear broadband (Internet) via Digital Cable, mean to say via STB

The LCOs are not professional and unless it is taken care of then DTH has the advantage of it.

With the national MSO expanding their services to new areas, the control of the service lies with the MSO. The role of LCO has become less as the customer is directly linked to MSO. Also with online websites, customers can see the different services.

The national MSOs can't ignore the LCOs completely and to cover all the areas they need their help and these LCOs if unhappy can ignore those MSOs and form their own msos in their areas.

Yes that I agree with you. But what I mean to say is that now LCO too understand what business is, and they too concentrate on giving good services. But many LCO till date are not professional
