If it happens, then it will be good. But for this to happen, govt has to shell lot of money to the broadcasters.

I don't think it will be available for free, I think its a future planning and it will be only add once DD encrypt their signals.

May be they would encrypt channel or sign special deal by paying minimal changes to these paid channels.

Then it won't happen anytime soon and atleast with current channels its hard to encrypt because of existing users and also existing TP will remain free for DD channels so dishtv users will also able to get those.
