Important Discussion about Remote problem in D2H

You can set the resolution through HD RESOLUTION setting wherein you can change it to AUTO or any other resolution you want.
Anyone using HD STB 2011 can easily confirm it by checking it on their STB. Your issue will only be solved only by either of these options-
1.Change remote type to NORMAL
2.Get yourself a new compact remote and keep remote type to COMPACT.

timkamat, Bro, I use in COMPACT mode and everything was working fine but the problem is happening from last 2/3 days and still the resolution issue is persists you agree or not.

I won't agree because I know how it works in the technical sense.It will work in compact mode of remote if you have a COMPACT remote.If you you have a normal or standard remote it won't work at all.It was working before the latest software was upgraded to enable recording.Was your software upgraded recently?

Definitely it's the current version with recording and I think it's 40. Why don't u understand that everything was fine with COMPACT mode "THE ISSUE GOING ON FROM LAST 2/3 DAYS ON SAME SETTINGS" and may be I am a non-technical person or u may be the expert but I only know what I am saying.

Arguing in a tone that is not polite won't make your arguments right.If changing remote type changes your resolution, then you need to get COMPACT remote.Thats it!
As long as you use normal remote and set remote type to compact your of key WILL never work as you expect it to.That remains a fact.Ask anyone who is using the same stb and normal remote.

Dyutiman Bro, You are not getting what I am. saying.It will not work in any 2011 HD STB.How can one expect it to work in your stb and not in others? By the way, latest software for r his stb is 45.

If you reset your stb and problem not solve then only one option and that is software update, technician will do same thing otherwise he will suggest to change stb or remote, mostly your problem will solve by software update. But i think manuall software update not available in d2h. Remove your signal wire pin from stb and do reset and

Why d2h not releasing new OTA for 2233, 2222 and all other HD boxes...my 2233 not working properly in ID 15 ..they have created id 21 but not releasing as OTA, only provides in new factory STBs

Can't understand what d2h is doing??
