ohha 40HDs ....!!great milestone achieved by Dish..they truly deserved the tag of being said as Genuine Tru HD channel DTH service provider.
If EPIC doen't shut down then it will come soon..will most depend on TRP of EPIC channel.

Otherwise see these 4K launchers..They still taking advantage of HD-4K customers by not adding pending HDs even 4K services are launched with products..I wonder why TRAI does not make compulsion on this HD Threshold CAP making Mandatory to allow them at the time making entry in 4K

If TRAI bring a mandatory rule that every DTH should add 41 HD channels then all DTH will demand ISRO to provide 20 + TPs at Mandatory basis

It's simple mathematical theory..ADD all 41 HDs by removing any other existing channels in current TP..Do helll out of it.ave
TRAI would have made this possible..and no excuses further could have made..
With current HEVC compression in d2h everything is possible ..still things are same..will be a WC,IPL show will go on..for making ex-cuses

Until and unless SD channels are keep on launching no DTH will able to remove SD channels and tat too for big corporate networks.

In short these SD-HD-4K services should be separated by TRAI. under each DTH.
Criteria
SD customer-will have most SDs with separate TP
HD customer-shud have all HDs in place then think of adding SDs ..Separate HD TP
4K Customer-shud have max 4K channels + all HD complusion in sperate TPs

Then only TRAI shuld allow to debut to all DTHs and continue with services having above criteria in place
