Dish TV, India’s largest Direct to Home television services operator, has reported operating revenues of Rs 557.8 crore for the quarter ending December 31, 2012, up 13.72% from Rs 490.5 crore from the corresponding quarter last year.
Its EBITDA (Earnings Before Interest, Taxes, Depreciation and Amortization) for the quarter stood at Rs 137.7 crore crore, up 14.56% from Rs 120.2 crore the corresponding quarter last fiscal. The EBITDA margin for the quarter stood at 24.7%.
Dish TV reported a net loss of Rs 44.9 crore for the quarter, as compared to Rs 43 crore loss in Q3-FY12. Dish TV had reported a profit of Rs 55.1 crore in the previous quarter, however it had included an exceptional item of 76.4 crore due to the reversal of finance costs, indicating a net loss of Rs 21.33 crore loss during the quarter.
