I think two of the top dth companies have gone into hibernation i.e tata sky and videocon d2h coz they are unaware of dish tv latest addition of channels and there both companies are in silent mode and there is a say that "toofan ke aane se pehle sab jagah sannata rehta hai" and i think both dth companies will emerge like a storm and silenced all their critics and once again rule the dth market, sorry to be so abusive

But the question is when they will add sd and hd channels after dish tv crosses the 50 mark in hd channels and leader in sd channels addition then???

They can never compete with Dish in terms of channel addition if TS and D2H add remaining HD channels now Dish will add 10 later.

dishtv always believes to launch new channels. If Indiacast middles the things with dishtv months ago then they will be the first one to launch all new channels from Indiacast.

They Can Bring Remaining SD Channels And Dolby Digital Audio On HD Channels


Videocon Surely Will Try Something But Overtaking Dish TV Will Be Very Tough

BTW Mr.A.N can you please tell me how you calculate TS Vs. dish. What kind of ala carte you took. Whats your needs is. Sorry to say calculation looks biased to me

For dish if you get full on hd package you get star sports hd 1 and 2 .. Ten hd and sony six hd

For tata sky you get star sports hd 1 and 2 at 210 rs package and to add sony six you have to add 40rs and ten hd comes in pack of 105 per month. Plus the access fee

The situation get worse if you need hindi gec and movies you have to subscribe for dhamaal cricket 260 and 40 for star sports hd2 and sony six 40 and ten at 105.

For english movies tata sky provides metro pack 360 which includes all stastar sports channel ..still you have to subscribe for sony six and ten.

Thats the calculation. You can look up both of there websites. Ten hd alacarte is available but it cost higher than sports 2 pack because of semi annual and annual pack availability

Yes Mr.A.N Bro. tats I knows that but you also missing UTV channels which is available on T(S lower packs and couple of SD English Movies in Metro Pack which is not available in Mid Tier Pack of dishtv.

I never even tune to UTV channels and dish provide all english movies channels @70 per month.
