AFAIK STAR INDIA signed a deal with dishtv until 2017 :rolleyes:

I amn't against Dish TV becaus ei haven't personally experienced it but from the outside experience i will try to avoid Dish TV as they are highly unpredictable.

May be these changes wouldn't have effected many but for a person like me who watch only selected channel, if any of my favorite channel gets removed i am into big ego problem with that service provider.

But that future is far away, thing is we all know that Cable is cheap and they're so what Broadcasters are doing they indirectly hiking the base pack price and made to similar like DTH. In near about Future we will start considering MSO a type of DTH only.

You will face this problem with FTA channels only. Also you need DVR, Series Recording, Remote App etc which dishtv don't even knows about.

Dish TV is on a downhill, not only are they removing channels from packages but if a customer writes on their facebook page then they just delete it. WOW! What a Gr8 way of addressing customers. This will surely make them suck even more

This is not a new thing and yes they suck, this is how they defined their business and everyone hate to listen the truth.
