Yes dealer can distribute any dth and is not bound by any particular dth

in my town, dealers would sell all the available dths but would stress for a particular dth. When i went to book d2h stb, a dish tv agent brain washed me to opt dish tru hd although the dealer told me to go for d2h.

Then it's not a dishtv dealer but a agent who sell dishtv. I also purchase dishtv from a electronic shop but dealer is the one who holds the outlet of dishtv and he can't sell anything else except dishtv until he having contract with them.

Then that's exclusive only in your area because a retailer is not into any agreement with any DTH. He is in agreement with a distributor and distributor is in agreement with a particular DTH.

However dealer is independent to tie up and sell multiple DTH

The dealer refused to bring down the price further, hence I paid 400 Rs for Dish TV dish and accessories except for LNB

While speaking to him, since I mentioned that I am part of DTH discussion forums he came up with an offer to me. He asked me to provide reference for New connections for any DTH connections and he would pay commission to me

Dear All,

I'm new to this forum, Help me by answering below q,
I'm having south silver cricket pack with standard STB basic one, I want to watch in cricket world cup in HD, then later I want go back to basic pack, is it possible? If I upgrade my STB to dish tru HD now an and later I can down grade my pack to south silver cricket in same HD STB?

Can we set default channel on startup? Every time I switch on I want to see particular channel.

I saw in sun direct that channels are grouped and you can move between them easily, such option s are not in my dish TV STB, can we get the easy access to channels by upgrading the STB?

^^ You can upgrade, downgrade any SD pack in future, Same with HD add ons. You can take any SD package in HD box no bounding.

Convert your SD box with HD box, ASAP with 599.

Don't know about Grouping of Sun Direct.

Dishtv box always boot to Home channel first. Then you can tune to other channels.
