afaik, dish tv is no. 1 in india and in asia as well in terms of subscriber base.

secondly, i still could not understand how dish tv will be benefitted if they merge it with d2h ?
i do not find any sense in merging. may be i need to read more about this.

if bhai ji u know then kindly tell me what is the benefit for dish tv as well as for d2h if they merge ?

Yes in terms of gross Dish leads but in terms of active subscriber base, D2H is ahead of Dish TV

Benefit for Dish TV is they will get a huge chunk of active subscriber base and listing in Nasdaq.

Do understand that Dish TV will get listed in Nasdaq only if they go for merger. If they acquire d2h then d2h has to get itself delisted from Nasdaq first and then only be acquired by Dish TV.

Videocon D2H is listed on Nasdaq via American Depository Receipts (ADR) and by the way of this acquisition Dish TV will also get listed on Nasdaq.

Again you are using the wrong word. Merger will get them listed on Nasdaq through ADR. Acquisition won't.
