HELP DishTV 5.1 volume control not working

Hello Guys,

I am having some problem in my dishtv after enabling 5.1 from the menu. Once its enabled I cant control volume of the channels that support 5.1 audio. The volume just stays fixed. It works fine if the 5.1 mode is not enabled.

Any one facing any similar issue?

This is normal brother.
Once you turn on dolby digital 5.1 you cannot control from stb volume control.

If you have connected to tv then adjust your tv volume.
If home theater then adjust that volume.

Don't worry no issues on your box.

thanks for the reply. this is outright wierd. I didnt have this issue with tata sky. if remember correctly.

Can you help me with something else? i want to add VH1 as a separate channel but dish tv is telling me to buy a pack of Rs. 25. Why isnt is allowing me to add one channel?

doesnt your stb has coaxial or optical output or HT doesnt have the input of the said pin?

i am not sure about that.. will chk and update you. right its connected via a 3.5 mm jack to the TV.
