HELP DishTVHD receiver

Can anyone advise as to how to reset and adjust the audio for the new DishTV HD reciever. I have connected it to my HK AVR with a HDMI cable but the audio is pathetic.

you wont get DD for all the HD channels.

Audio should not be pathetic for HD channels. Did you made any changes in your AVR

I think only Movies now+ is available in DD in Dishtv.....

All Star network HD channels also giving DD sound except sports HD channels.
