HELP Does the DTH Universal remote affect TV anyways ?

The TV installation guy came to my house told that, if you use universal remote it will affect the TV, so reset the dth remote.

It looks strange to me... I have asked Airtel DTH guy he said, it won't affect and hearing this first time.

Does it affect ? Experts, please comment on this...

I had been using Universal Remote since last 2 years and no issue found. Also universal remote is a well described thought process. So, technically also there isn't any issue of using it.

I would suggest you yo ignore the ignorant advice and continue enjoying with your Universal Remote.

If you share the same thing with artel, I am sure they will screw the engineer for misleading customers.

remote sencer is the part of tv,so it will not affect your television.just signal receiver,you know if you eyes cable of seeing ray you will get see many traffic of rays.so dont think any just enjoy.
