HELP Dolby Digital through SPDIF Cable

Please note that I have SONY Bravia 32'' LCD Model BX300. I am using Videocon D2H HD and want to get DOLBY DIGITAL. How can I get it. Further it also be noted that I have purchased SPDIF RCA Co-axial cable male to get the DD sound but it's not fitted with my LCD. Please advise.

Videocon d2h provides 5.1 surround system in 13 HD channels.
As far as the d2h HD Set Top Boxes are concerned, 5.1 sound is output on the “Co-Axial” and the “Optical” outputs.
Any Home Theater system which supports a Digital Co-axial input can be used along with our HD Set Top Box. Please note that the “Optical” Audio output is available only in the HD DVR (Model 4614)

Yeah, dat I know but I didn't knew that they providing the O/P only in HD DVR.

Dyutiman D2H is giving DD sound via coaxial out put only for old boxes.we asked many times about it and D2H replied that they will rectify this problem in next software update.But some how their software updation has been failed.Now only HD DVR and new STBs like 2222 and other new models giving DD + sound via HDMI.for old boxes we have to wait for the new software updation.I purchased new 2222 STB and now it is working fine and giving DD+ sound via HDMI.
Now its in ur hands whether u have to wait for the new software or purchase new STB.

These Videocon d2h models NOT providing DD via HDMI (enabled) till date.
1) Videocon d2h HD DVR-4611 : with latest DW ID
2) Videocon d2h HD STB 2011 : with latest DW ID:45

Note : Sony Bravia LCD/LED TV users can check HDMI connectivity with Videocon D2h HD DVRs or HD STBs with below remote options:
- Go to Tools option ->>HDMI Set up option ->>click Enabled button ->> check whether Bravia detects d2h via this. OR
Try from Menu option as well
Till now I've not got detected above 2 d2h products using this option.Can anyone clarify over this compatibility???
