As per report of CAG Gsat 10 is replacement of INSAT 4A , also no info about when another sat going to launch on same direction. Minimum 10 year. Yet no announcement ans we know after announcement of satellite it goes live after 5 to 8 years. Bro I know you don't like ts but truth is that isro is culprit here
We're not discussing about liking and disliking. I am asking why TS not moving to GSAT 10 ? I am agreeing on the matter that TP wise they may end with same number but who will be blame if tomorrow Insat 4A will stop working do we still blame ISRO ? From many years we called ISRO a main culprit about not giving TPs of GSAT 10 to TS now we're making ISRO culprit again despite of this eye opening news that ISRO gave TS offer about GSAT 10 but TS not accepting.

As per article Gsat 10 is replacement satellite then Whats the benefit to opt Gsat 10 as replacement of Insat 4a. Ts remain only 12tp in hand. In 2007 gsat was a additional satellite but due to delay in launch and no future schedule to launch another satellite in same orbit isro use current Gsat 10 as replacement of Insat 4a.
Why we blaming ts here? As isro fail deliver all

We are blaming because of this :

DOS stated (December 2012) that the satellite capacity was allocated to Tata Sky to improve acceptability of INSAT/GSAT system without compromising government interest. DOS added (March 2014) that first right of refusal was given as a technical requirement as further expansion of capacity for DTH service was possible only at the same orbital location. The fact, however, remained that DOS did not give exclusive right of first refusal to any other DTH service provider, indicating that DOS gave a preferential treatment to Tata Sky over other DTH service providers.

Instead of all this agreement, Tata Sky not accepting the transponders of GSAT 10 which was allocated exclusively to them and saying us that he is ot given transponder.

If there is 2 horse to bid, 1 is old and other is adult then on which one you will bid ?
This is different example bro. Why you not try to understand my point.
Gsat 10 is replacement of INSAT 4a as per article. Are you agree on this?
If yes then think simple, what's benefit ts getting. Only 12 tp until new sat launch( till date no any announcement made by isro to launch any sat at this direction )means ts remain only on 12 to till min next 10 year.

Ans not my answer is, if you need to cover only short distance by one horse and after some distance you need to carry extra load which can't carry by one horse. So who provide me assurance to provide needed number of horses on my travel time by time. Then doesn't matter horse is old or new

The reason why Tata SKy pressurised ISRO to launch GSAT 10 was different. Check this :

The 12 Ku band transponders of INSAT 4A satellite were allotted to Tata Sky on an exclusive basis. As its transponders were functioning with reduced power, Tata Sky voiced its concerns about the health of satellite and continuously represented at different levels in Government to launch GSAT 10 satellite to avoid adverse impact on its business. At the instance of Tata Sky, DOS launched (September 2012) GSAT 10 satellite having 12 Ku band transponders and positioned it at the same orbital slot (83° east) as that of INSAT 4A. ICC (November 2012) proposed that the 12 transponders of INSAT 4A could be swapped with 12 transponders in GSAT 10. This proposal was agreed
to by Space Commission (April 2013).

Tata Sky, which was initially willing to swap the transponders of INSAT 4A with GSAT 10, subsequently declined (July 2013) the proposal on the ground that swapping would not provide additional capacity required by them. Audit observed that apprehending litigation from Tata Sky, DOS did not allocate capacity on GSAT 10 to any other service provider and entire 12 Ku band transponders capable of generating revenue of more than23 `82.80 crore a year continued to remain idle (May 2014) since its launch in May 2011.

DOS replied (March 2014) that Ku band capacity in GSAT 10 was treated as spare capacity with appropriate approvals

Yes Dos gives certain benefit to ts as in form exclusive right to refusal. This is also not related ts as why Does gives this benefit? This question belong to dos and also why they allow to airtel and dish tv to migrate on foreign satellite? What is doing Great 8? Gsat 14? INSAT 4CR? There are many question against isro and dos

Only i want to know if ts accept Gsat 10 what's the benefit? More than INSAT 4a

Aree bhai but what was told before and what are they doing now is the main question I agree that tata sky must have used those Gsat 10 tps but why replacement of that koi exchange offer thode hi hai

why they allow to airtel and dish tv to migrate on foreign satellite?

GSAT 8 was supposed to be given to Reliance, Videocon and Airtel but The launch of GSAT 8 was planned in 2007 but it was actually launched in May 2011, after delay of more than three years.

So, Airtel was allocated capacity on INSAT 4CR and Reliance and Videocon moved (2008) to foreign satellites MEASAT and ST respectively.

But Due to de-commissioning of two satellites of DOS (Edusat in September 2010 and GSAT-2 in March/April 2011), Airtel was vacated from INSAT 4CR in order to accommodate the services of these satellites and to meet their additional capacity requirements , Airtel moved (2011) to
foreign satellite SES.
