The latest "Dragon Ball Super" news suggests that fans in Asia will get the English version of the anime show in July or August this year.
A Fan named Manish Madan asked Toonami Asia on Twitter about the release of "Dragon Ball Super" English version and the official Twitter account stated that they can expect the show to air in July or August.
Earlier, Toonami Asia bagged the rights to air "Dragon Ball Super" in Asia. "Dragon Ball Super (52×30') is the first all-new Dragon Ball television series to be produced in nearly 20 years, and will make its pan-regional launch on Toonami in mid-2016. It will be an exclusive first-run premiere on Toonami in Southeast Asia and India, which will also be its English-language world premiere," reads the press release by Toonami.
Mark Eyer, Chief Content Officer for Turner's Kids Networks (Asia Pacific) stated that it is big news for fans in Asia.
"Since the channel launched in 2012, Toonami has been airing episodes of Dragon Ball Z and Dragon Ball Z Kai, and to premiere Dragon Ball Super demonstrates the channel's continued commitment to securing must-have and must-see content, first on Toonami," Eyers added.
However, Funimation commented to Kanzenshuu.com that they have no connection whatsoever with the announcement made by Toonami Asia in mid-2016.
So Enjoy guys!
