No update yet. Even the cc asks us to be patient for a few days(note that they're now using the word "days" Instead of "months"). I posted the query on their fb page and also on their "delighted to help" app on fb.I got the same reply on both occasions.

Another software upgrade delay reply from videcond2h


Dear Customer,

A software upgrade for the HD Set Top boxes is being planned in the very near future. This upgrade will have improved features, which includes Recording and Playback from USB storage devices.

Due to some unanticipated issues, the release of the software upgrade had to be delayed. Kindly bear the delay.

But please note that, to enable recording features, activation and subscription as applicable, will be necessary.

Hummm !

See, you were so much excited about software update one month back itself and posted this thread as if you already got the update and features.. These kind of things need huge testing. Earlier Update attempted for USB recording was failed. So, this time d2h would be doing all necessary and precautionary tests before releasing it to all.

Yesterday i talk with nodal officer he said the software updation failed from us.
near-future we are trying to update software
