Every DTH having there policy even these channels will be available in the base pack but they used to call first month as Free Preview Month.

yes,but only dish gives free preview after the addition and others give at times.

I think it's a deal between Broadcaster and dth operator.

And this free preview is from Broadcaster end only. Dish TV seems to be aggressive in implementing this.

D2h prefer more to keep channels as promotional offer than free preview.
