HELP EPG on DVR STB showing current and next program only

1000 gb , my problem still persists and the customer care isn't able to help. Still no schedule. Did your issue get resolves mandil ?
 
Hi all.

The program guide on my DVR STB is showing the current and next channel only on all the channels. Till yesterday it was showing the program guides for up to 24 hours (or may be even more as I hadn't taken notice). Not a total game breaker, but its very frustrating specially when I'm trying to schedule records. The nice lady at customer care has absolutely no idea what I'm talking about.

FYI, the regular STB in another room shows the full program guide. This issue is only occurring with DVR STB. Wondering if anyone else is having the same issue or know a fix?

Identical problem (my location Mumbai, MH). In fact this is an old problem ever since I subscribed, but initially the problem of DVR STB showing only current and next program on "any channel" was restricted to "HD channels" only and was intermittent. It used to resolve after some time/days. Now since December none of the channels show the full program list, however the menu shows entire program on other room normal STB.

Reported this to call centre and spoke to various people who simply tried resetting the STB from their end and every one of them asking me to verify in Channel Guide. None of this bore any results and after speaking to a supervisor was informed that it is a "software issue, faced by ALL DVR STBs" and would be resolved by 18-Jan. After 18-Jan, till today have spoken to various people in call center, even their supervisors, who could not really give me a convincing reply. So insisted on sending someone home. Last 2 days, Videocon D2H people have been visiting my place, updating software etc. but no resolution. Today they asked me permission to format the hard disk, which I refused unless they say that they are 100% sure of resolving. Then I asked to speak to their senior in HO, who spoke to me but was not sure of the resolution. Now I am told that this is not a common problem with all DVR STBs which is contrary to what was said earlier by the call centre. I am still in dialogue with the senior official and will post the outcome, shortly"
