MUMBAI: Epic—India’s first genre-specific, high-definition Hindi entertainment channel—is finally set for launch on 19 November 2014. The channel has entrusted its distribution and syndication mandate to IndiaCast, and is currently finalising deals with DTH and digital cable platforms. Focused on urban India, Epic will launch with two and a half hours of original programming. It will be an encrypted channel upon launch, with about six months of free viewing. Featuring finite fiction content from the mythological, folklore and historical genres shot in HD, the channel will launch with an array of weekly shows, most of which will be of one-hour duration. Last month, the channel had mandated Helios Media to take care of its revenue monetisation duties.

Hopefully 19th only and it might be available on few DTH too including d2h. Just guessing.

It is launching on Nov 19th only and yes it will be coming in some DTH and Digital cable because Epic having SD format also along with HD.
