Walt disney's ESPN tatally shutting down in india operation, hence star's parent company news corp. Acquire all share from walt disney and run ESPN as new name of fox sport instead to launch new channels, they also brought all right which is with ESPN. We all know star and fox internation is subsidiary of news corporation. Ya, there is need to launch a special channel for indian cricket.

as per this article the changes may not be applicable in India ESPN to turn Fox Sports from Jan 28?… though not likely in India | MxM India
So we would have to till 28th see what really happens.
