i have just said it and it is not compulsory to stand in theatre. Moreover, it is better not to play at the cinema halls when some people start disrespecting it.

This is what HC said

an order passed by the Calcutta High Court last year, stated that it was left to the good sense of the people who were expected to desist from such activities.

Which means that he want to say the Indians that its your country. You should stand to respect your National Anthem. But they didn't forced because that would draw criticism from society because then physically disabled and old age people would suffer.

when some healthy people itself are not willing then it is better not to be played and i have posted the MHA circular which says it is leaving the decision to the audience. In this case, the people were really intolerant.
