This remote is not having button cell. It comes with a rechargeable battery.

Then it would be wise to upgrade because ...i think by reverting back to AA or AAA batteries ...remote will become thicker again and hope they revert back the quality also like before.
They can replace this cheap button plastic so buttons can work smoothly as before.

As per photograph, I think its AAA or something like mobile battery because it's as slim as existing RF remote.
Battery must be rechargeable and old RF remote bug must be fixed otherwise its of no use
Lets see what d2h does....afaik...d2h just degrades the quality never improves. That they have proved in their all new accessories

d2h remote is not on par and hurts finger while pressing.

Even the older remotes were not good. So bulky. Look at our LED remotes. They are so slim and light weight.
Only good thing about older remote was they were universal
