Wherever you heard are from less knowledgeable,
Violence of rule occur only if Sony keeps on broadcasting IPL related program & Jio let it as it is but it's not happening because Jio themselves taking off the signals during IPL & since Reliance & Star has their stakes on ISL tats why they're mutual partners to promote Hotstar by this way.

also hotstar live IPL option added on jio TV so may be no chances for sony six & ESPN removal

So then what's the problem with Sony Max they broadcast movies otherwise no IPL they not even broadcast repeat.
