Yeah, only that will curb illegal business and provide growth to Pakistan Entertainment group. But I read a lot that cable mafia is quite strong there and hence govt is unable to take any stern decision to introduce DTH in Pakistan.

Yeah, you are right! Cable Operator Association of Pakistan (COAP) has a very strong lobby and they have made sure that DTH technology does not gain a stronghold in the country in order to maintain their own monopoly and profit in the industry. He said that the launch of DTH has been discussed on all platforms but the COAP lobby continues to fight for its postponement. But I hope this problem will be solved soon.

Hope Govt of Pakistan is able to take strong steps and launch DTH. It was difficult in India too but now it so popular and even all Cable Digitization will be completed soon too.
