Amid the raging controversy surrounding the Afzal Guru event held at JNU on February 9, it has emerged that two of the seven videos sent by the Delhi government for forensic tests were ‘doctored’.
The Delhi government had last month sent the seven videos, aired by some TV channels, reportedly showing ‘anti-national’ sloganeering at the JNU event for forensic tests to the Hyderabad-based Truth Labs.
The private laboratory sent a report to the Delhi government on Tuesday. The findings stated that at least two of the seven videos were ‘manipulated’.
Dr Gandhi PC Kaza, chairman, Truth Labs told Hindustan Times that a detailed report had been submitted to the Delhi Government.
As per the findings, sources said, while one of the videos was massively edited and had several cuts, in the other video, the audio was imposed on the video.
