Samsung Galaxy S3 -camera lens cover query

I have observed minute scratches on one of my friend's Galaxy S3. He's been askjng me whether it's possible to replace the lens cover.Please note that he's not talking about the lens itself-but only the cover.He showed me a video of the way to replace lens cover.Though I'm not sure of whether it's possible or not, I wish some of the experts here can suggest ways.
Yes , I couldn't find any difference between the images shot on his and my S3.So does that mean the scratches don't affect camera quality?

It's not about back cover which would be easily available. It's about the camera lens cover.The cover that protects lens.

So for that you will have to take it to Samsung Service Center thy may help you

If there is no difference on pic quality then why wasting money on it ? Service Centers guys are so stupid that ultimately it will cost you and one can't prevent scratches new one too might get it.

dont no more, previously i used lens gaurd but now days im not using.

my mobile is scratchless, i never put it on hard place.
