But I couldn't understand one thing right now. All Hindus follow Vedic culture, then why non - veg, garlic and onion?

If you really don't eat garlic and onion then only you're a true Vegetarian.

Garlic and Onion are considered 'Tamasik' food according Vedas.

For your info, even Rishis in the Vedic age used to consume non veg.I have studied Sanskrit in my school days and I have read about this

I would like to read about it. But it should be from Vedas, purans and upanishads. Not from a Sanskrit text book, which could have been, most probably written by a meat eater.

i am a vegetarian although my family members like Non-veg, i dont know why i hate NV since the age i could understand.
