Exactly , this is what I get on !dea connection.You get better speed than 2g, but not as 3g. This we don't get in Vodafone and Airtel in Goa. If you set it to dual mode you get just 2g , not 3g.

And that's the reason why I am more inclined towards !dea.

The download speed even reaches 40 KB/s on some websites.
And average speed ranges between 25-33 KB/s here.
I don't know about Goa.
idea, Aircel, Reliance all are of same breed here.
You won't even get the network if you live in a small town and when you're inside home. That's the condition of these networks !
Only Airtel and Vodafone has better network in my area.
And Airtel is unmatchable to any operators in service here.

Yes I use airtel 2g for my phone its fast compare to other networks
