Yes if they would have gone with android then no one would have beaten Nokia like Samsung is doing today

They didn't develop Symbian further neither ask any develop to increase the range of app. Still when I open Ovi I found the same app which I used to get 5 years ago. Not going with Andriod is not their mistake but didn't understand Android was the big mistake.

I used symbian also, its not so easy as android also all device vendor start to sell Android base phone and hence app maker prefer to invest more in android platform. NOKIA is history very soon

Really Symbian is not easy ?

But yes agrees with your point none of the mobile company able to survive if Google stops the operation of Android. And Nokia never ever took a serious concern on availability of Apps at Symbian.
