From April next year, 85 per cent of space on cigarette packs and other tobacco products in India will have to be covered with graphic and text warnings about adverse health effects, becoming the country with the highest element of warning on packages.

A notification in this regard was issued by the Union health ministry on Wednesday.

Of the 85 per cent space, 60 per cent will be devoted to pictorial warnings while 25 per cent will be covered by textual warnings. At present, the space covered by the warning is 40 per cent.

Tobacoo users in india is growing day by day, even if its covered with 120%, the rate is heading North.

but did any one made a effort to find out where their names were or did they connect with state EC to add their names? its really bad that we have 50% of population not going to vote. Also ECI should start the process of E-voting & online voting and make Voting in India mandatory for all Resident Indians.
Tats the problem they don't vote and keep screaming for next 5 years.
