Its about right people at right time. Now Gujaratis lost Modi but if Aanandi Ben able to develop Gujarat more then party will fight election on her name only. Samething happened with Shivraj Singh also It was Uma Bharti who was conquered MP but BJP finally got the face of Shivraj and he become MAMA of MP now BJP fight election on his name and face only. Infact Advani was also favoring Shivraj as PM candidate.

But the thing is entirely different in Goa coz we have just 40 MLAs and even one or two changing sides is enough to bring down a well established govt. We have seen that in Goan politics in the 90's when none of the govts could stay for more than six months. It's just the BJP (more so , Mr.Parrikar) and the previous Congress govt under Digambar Kamat were the stable ones.
