Election Commission's flip flop on exit poll ban

The Election Commission seems to be confused on the telecast of exit polls after voting ends on May 12 for all the 543 Lok Sabha seats. While Election Commissioner HS Brahma earlier said that exit polls cannot be telecast till May 16, the date when counting will be held, the Election Commission clarified that the exit polls can be telecast on May 12 after 6.30 pm.
