Kerala is the only major state, where the Congress-led UDF has done well and the BJP has failed to open its account. Kerala Chief Minister Ommen Chandy said that it is the victory of the people and his strength is people. He said that though the Congress has been defeated, they will bounce back in more strength under the leadership of Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi. "It is the general trend in Kerala that the BJP does not have much support. Kerala's main strength is secularism," he said.
