That was always a speculation. Today's activation of GSAT 10 is slap on all those speculators who always boast to provide real and true news.

When everyone was thinking of Apple, Tata Sky choose the Mango ;)
But the additional TP allocation to TS is not yet confirmed..........?

Yeah right but with double encryption, HEVC compression and MPEG 4 migration, they can create manageable space for next 2-3 years. Till then govt might launch another one for them.

Do you think both GSAT - 10 and Asiasat simultaneously is feasible now ?
I mean to say Insat + Gsat may be just a stopgap arrangement............as TS will need more time for dish repointing across India.........................So TS would be able to add more channels using Insat + Gsat TPs for the time being...................as we know TS is under hugh pressure for channel addition...........

I think purely migrating to Gsat10, leaving Insat doesn't make sense as there is no space increment to add channels............

But i think INSAT 4A life is about to end in coming years. Isn't it ?

But I think they will not depend on gsat 10 and maybe they will use asiasat not now but in next 1-2years

Bro, Its Modi Raj and Make in India time. So, those who will be with govt will take the benefit and those not will have to wait for next govt ;)
