Yes, you see right. This is confirm news from ceo office. Dispute between isro and tata sky is because pricing of tp. Tata sky already done a agreement and paid some amount to isro but now isro want to lease tp as current price but tata sky decline to do so thats why we decide to move on mpeg4. Tata sky need 20 to 25 tp in future after expire insat life, till date we can arrange 350+ sd and 50+ hd channels.
So no new tp but many channels are in line up. Mpeg4 migration is expected to complete in next 5-6 months.

Whoever is liable for this stalemate they are bound their hands bcoz of an agreement and act according to the terms laid down there.

So it means Tatasky is not willing to pay extra amount, and i think they are right.

Because they had paid earlier for booking of these tps and now isro got greedy and demanding current tp price

Hard to believe that the agreement which Tata Sky would have signed with ISRO in 2007 would be so vague that they do not know what to pay when TP's will be available.

It will be better if tata sky moves on and migrate to a new international satellite in the lines of Airtel, the problem will be solved and there by they can add more and more channels and regain # 1 spot in indian DTH industry.

So what else options are available to ISRO about Gsat10?

If Tatasky not going to get tps in current scenario then to who ISRO will give these tps?
