News Gsat 15 successfull launch a boon for Tata sky and Sun direct

Fairly speaking TS promoted HD channels very well even SS HD 2 is available for free without any fee, if tomorrow they decides to remove SD feed of present HD channels then also they can accommodated those space for carriage fee channels. Basically Tata Sky don't need any more space as they invested heavily on their own infrastructure.

insat 3a, 4b going to retire. and gsat 15 only has Ku band tps. then how can move some c band traffic from Gsat 10 to gsat 15.

insat 4a retirement still not announced. now migration only starts from insat 4a to gsat 10. still 2 years life remains. isro can give extra tps to tatasky using insat 4a for 2 years. my guess only.

There are 2 parts here

C band : Some DD channels are migrating from Insat 4B C band to GSAT 10 C band

Ku band : I really doubt Tata Sky would like to go for 2 year extension of Insat 4A TP's. For now they might migrate completely to GSAT 10 and switch off Insat 4A Ku band TP's

gsat 19 e planned for 2017 1st quarter. it might be 83 slot. at the same time in sat 4a will expire. this makes me some doubt. BTW, gsat 19e is experimental launch using mk3 vechile.
