This satellite contains 24 C band Transponders. Really wish some good channels start on this satellite.

MIB while giving permissions to new channels should put a clause to use Insat/GSAT satellites

It is having total 48 Transponders,Govt and private TV channels and Radio channels can use those TPs.total 12 years its usage time.This month end it will come in to use.

Second orbit raising operation is scheduled on Dec 09, 2014
